This privacy policy describes how Stellar Vanguard ("the Game"), developed by vStokke ("we", "us", or "our"), handles information when you use our mobile application.
Information We Collect
We do not directly collect or store personal information on our own servers. However, the Game integrates third-party services that may collect and process certain data as described below.
Locally Stored Data
Game save data (progress, settings, and pilot profiles) is stored locally on your device in encrypted form.
Cloud Save Data
If you sign in with Google Play Games Services, your save data (pilot profiles, progression, and settings) is synchronized to Google's servers to enable cross-device play. This data is transmitted to and stored by Google according to their privacy policy. You can manage or delete cloud save data through your Google Play Games settings.
Data Collected by Third-Party Services
The following third-party services operate within the Game and may collect data according to their own privacy policies:
Google Play Games Services (Cloud Saves & Achievements)
When signed in, the Game syncs save data and achievement progress to Google Play Games. Google may collect:
- Google account information
- Game save data (pilot profiles, progression, statistics)
- Achievement unlock status and progress
- Device information
Firebase Analytics (Gameplay Analytics)
The Game uses Firebase Analytics to understand gameplay patterns and improve the experience. Firebase may collect:
- Gameplay events (ship selection, upgrades chosen, wave reached, cause of death)
- Session duration and frequency
- Device information (device model, OS version, screen size)
- App performance and crash data
Analytics data is collected in aggregate form and is not used to personally identify users. Analytics is only active on Android and is disabled in debug builds.
Google AdMob (Ad Serving)
The Game displays interstitial advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:
- Advertising ID (Android Ad ID)
- Device information (device model, OS version, screen size)
- IP address (for approximate location and ad fraud prevention)
- App usage data and ad interaction data
- Crash and performance diagnostics
This data may be used by Google to serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements depending on your device consent settings.
Google Play Billing (In-App Purchases)
The Game offers in-app purchases (such as removing ads) through Google Play Billing. Google processes all purchase transactions. Google may collect:

We do not have access to your payment details (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.). All payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play.
How We Use Information
We do not collect or use your personal information directly. Third-party services integrated into the Game use information as follows:

- Firebase Analytics: To understand gameplay patterns, identify issues, and improve game balance and features.

We do not retain any user data on our own servers. Local game save data remains on your device until you uninstall the Game or manually clear the app data. Children's Privacy
The Game is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through a third-party service within the Game, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
